Kebbi: Youths, Sports Ministry unveils 3years achievements.

From : Ayodele Ajoge, Birnin-Kebbi  The Kebbi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development recorded significant achievements in sports and youth empowerment, emerging 5th nationally and 2nd in Northern Nigeria at the just-concluded National Sports Festival. The Commissioner in charge of the Ministry, Hon. Nuradden Bala Fingila disclosed this on Tuesday during an inter-ministerial briefing with journalists in conjunction with the Ministry for Information and Culture. APC primaries: Political banditry in Zamfara- Dr Shinkafi

  From Ahmed Attahir  A Chieftain of All Progressive Congress (APC), and senator aspiring in Zamfara north Dr. Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, has raised concerned over National Assembly primaries in the state, saying it's an affirmation of anointed candidates and political banditry in the state.  Addressing newsmen on Tuesday in Gusau, Dr Shinkafi described the process as “imposition of candidates and political banditry, alleging that Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, arrived in Zamfara with a private jet alongside past and present governors to enforce the directive. According to Shinkafi, Matawalle and the governor told aspirants that President Bola Tinubu had ordered all senatorial aspirants to withdraw for serving senators ahead of primaries. “This undemocratic order, if actually made by Mr President, does not comply with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2026,” Shinkafi said. Kebbi: N-HYPPADE doles out 130 power tillers machines to farmers.

The equipment were handed over to beneficiaries in Birnin Kebbi on Friday during a ceremony attended by officials of the commission, state government representatives, and community leaders. Flagging off the training exercise at the ultra-modern State Secretariat in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday, the governor reminded workers that the present administration belongs to them, hence the need to sustain their support and cooperation. “Nobody is better than you as far as this administration is concerned.
