Danfulani who is the Former State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry while speaking at the presentation of the vehicles to the beneficiaries in Gusau on Thursday said the gesture is aimed at supporting the party leaders and  supporters in recognition of their performance towards promoting the party in the state. "This is My personal donation to some of our party members who have been working for the development of our great party," he said. Senator Yari begins construction of over 4000 houses for flood victims in Zamfara

From Ahmed Attahir  The Former Governor of Zamfara State, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Marafan Sokoto) has flagged off phase one for the reconstruction of over 4,000 houses for the victims of flood in Gummi town in the state. According to the chairman publicity committee A.A Yari political organization Ibrahim Muhammad Birnin Magaji, said Former Governor Yari now Senator Representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, has during his recent visit assured to build houses for the victims of the flood-ravaged community in Gummi town, Gummi Local Government area in the state. "The first phase of the project  consists the  distribution of 200 Trucks of Cement(180,000 bags), 7,500 bundles of roofing zinc and some cash to the victims of the  flood disaster which befallen them during this year's wet season". From Ahmed Attahir  The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Zamfara state has raised the alarm that over 120 violations of human rights were recorded in 2024 in the state. This was disclosed by the Zamfara state coordinator NHRC Abdullahi Abubakar on Wednesday during the commemoration of 2024 world human rights day in the state.  The coordinator expressed concern over the alarming increase in human rights violations across the state.  "We have recorded over 120 cases of human rights violations so far in 2024, including issues such as abuse, neglect, and the infringement of fundamental freedoms".
