The equipment were handed over to beneficiaries in Birnin Kebbi on Friday during a ceremony attended by officials of the commission, state government representatives, and community leaders. Flagging off the training exercise at the ultra-modern State Secretariat in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday, the governor reminded workers that the present administration belongs to them, hence the need to sustain their support and cooperation. “Nobody is better than you as far as this administration is concerned. The Commissioner for Works, Engr. Abdullahi Umar-Faruk, Muslim disclosed this on Thursday in Birnin Kebbi at an inter-ministerial press briefing organised by the state’s Ministry of Information and Culture. Muslim said the ministry, in line with its mandate, had handled the design, costing, procurement, supervision, and execution of major public infrastructure projects to boost the state’s socio-economic development.
