Ahmed Attahir  The Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto has dismissed an appeal filed by Senator Sahabi Ya'u Kaura challenging the judgment of the Federal High Court Gusau over the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary election for Zamfara North Senatorial District. The Appeal court upholds the decision of the Federal High Court in favour of Dr. Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, APC senatorial aspirant Zamfara north, and ordered for a primary election in the area.  Counsel to the first respondent, Bello Galadi, disclosed this while speaking with journalist after the judgment ,saying that, the appellate court resolved all the issues raised by the appellant and dismissed the appeal for lack of merit. Editor  In an effort to expand access to affordable fuel alternatives, Clean Energy Solutions company, NU Synergy, has inaugurated a Compressed Natural Gas, CNG, vehicle conversion and refuelling centre Zaria Road, Kano State. This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the media coordinator NU synergy, Zainab Shuaibu Abdullahi to Journalists in Kano. Editor  The Senatorial aspirant for Zamfara North Senatorial District, Dr. Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, has expressed confidence that the Court of Appeal will uphold the judgment of the Federal High Court which nullified the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary election conducted in the area.  Dr. Shinkafi stated this while speaking to journalists after the Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto heard arguments in the appeal challenging the lower court’s judgment. He said his confidence was based on the documentary evidence presented before the Federal High Court, which, according to him, established non-compliance with the Electoral Act and the APC guidelines for the conduct of primary elections.
