A renowned legal practitioner and philanthropist in Jigawa state,Barrister Kaloma Dahiru Mustapha, has called on citizens to actively participate in the electoral process by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections in the state.

Barrister Kaloma and APC Chieftain made the call during an interaction with members of the public, emphasizing that the PVC remains the only instrument through which citizens can exercise their constitutional right to elect leaders of their choice.

According to him, meaningful development, good governance, and sustainable progress can only be achieved when citizens actively participate in the democratic process through voter registration and informed voting.

The legal luminary also called on political leaders, stakeholders, and public office holders to strengthen leadership structures, promote accountability, and build strong institutions capable of sustaining peace, development, and national progress.

He noted that responsible leadership, coupled with active civic participation, remains essential for advancing the growth and prosperity of Jigawa State and Nigeria at large.

Barrister Kaloma reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote public enlightenment, democratic values, and community development in the state.
