From : Ayodele Ajoge, Birnin-Kebbi  APC stakeholders from the 21 Local Government Areas of Kebbi State converged on Haliru Audu Stadium in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday and affirmed Governor Nasir Idris as the party’s consensus candidate for the 2027 Governorship election. The affirmation ceremony was conducted by the APC National Committee for Gubernatorial Primaries in the state, led by Hon. Abdulmalik Muhamud. From Ahmed Attahir  The Former governor of Zamfara state and serving senator Abdul'aziz Yari Abubakar has shunned APC reconciliation meeting held in Gusau, ahead of national assembly primaries in the state.  The meeting held between monday and Tuesday was aimed at uniting the party's supporters in Zamfara state .
