The programme, held at City Guest Hotel, Birnin Kebbi, brought together representatives of host communities, traditional institutions, youth groups, security agencies, relevant government establishments, and the media to foster stronger collaboration in safeguarding transmission facilities and ensuring reliable electricity transmission. Attahiru Ahmed Gusau  The National Chairman of the Kwankwasiyya Nationwide Project Zamfara State, Malam Yunusa Isa Yallabai, has distributed drugs worth about two million naira to vulnerable people in the state.  Speaking to newsmen on Thursday night in Gusau, Malam Yunusa Isa Yallabai said the drugs would be distributed to hospitals in five wards in Maru Local Government particularly Bindin, Dankurmi, Dangulbi among other Community.  According to him, the initiative, was tagged “Yallabai Care,” aimed at providing medical assistance to less privileged members of society. Ahmed Attahir  The Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto has dismissed an appeal filed by Senator Sahabi Ya'u Kaura challenging the judgment of the Federal High Court Gusau over the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary election for Zamfara North Senatorial District. The Appeal court upholds the decision of the Federal High Court in favour of Dr. Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, APC senatorial aspirant Zamfara north, and ordered for a primary election in the area.  Counsel to the first respondent, Bello Galadi, disclosed this while speaking with journalist after the judgment ,saying that, the appellate court resolved all the issues raised by the appellant and dismissed the appeal for lack of merit. Editor  In an effort to expand access to affordable fuel alternatives, Clean Energy Solutions company, NU Synergy, has inaugurated a Compressed Natural Gas, CNG, vehicle conversion and refuelling centre Zaria Road, Kano State. This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the media coordinator NU synergy, Zainab Shuaibu Abdullahi to Journalists in Kano. The facility, founded by Malam Najashi Ubah, is designed to provide vehicle owners, commercial drivers and transport operators with professional CNG conversion services and refuelling infrastructure as an alternative to conventional petrol-powered transportation.
