From Ahmed Attahir  A member Federal House of Representatives in Zamfara State Hon.Abdulmalik Zubairu Bungudu has distributed 100 vehicles to his constituents to boost APC ahead of 2027 elections in the state.  Hon. Zubairu Bungudu representing Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency in Zamfara State, also distributed sewing machines,computers, transformers, motorcycles and generators as part of empowerment to his constituents.  The formal distribution was held on Thursday in Bungudu town  witnessed  by Governor Dauda Lawal and Senator Abdulaziz Yari in the state.  In his remarks,Reps Abdulmalik Bungudu disclosed that vehicles were distributed to constituents with the  aimed at boosting the APC supporters ahead of 2027 elections.  "Other items distributed is part of empowerment to assist ,women, youths and vulnerable households to become self-reliance". From Ahmed Attahir  The All Progressives Congress (APC) Zamfara State has mourned the death of Emir of Zurmi Alhaji Muhammad Bello Suleiman in the state.  The Emir who was the district heads of Mayasa and Bunun kanwa respectively from 1950s rosed to the Emir of Zurmi before his death which occurred on Monday, August 31, 2026 in the state.  In a statement issued on Tuesday night by APC Publicity secretary Ibrahim Mohammad Birnin Magaji said the state lost astute traditional ruler who served with dignity and decorum. From Ahmed Attahir  The Zamfara State Ministry of Education Committee set up for the Enforcement of Minimum Standards and Regulatory Compliance in Private Schools has submitted reports,as commissioner said government was determined to lift the standard of education at all levels in the state.  Speaking during the submission of the report to commissioner for Education held at the Ministry today, Chairperson of the Committee Hajiya Kulu Na’ala said 242 out of 508 private schools operating in the state were screened and recovered N23m as tax and levies.  "out of the 508 schools captured, only 242 were screened and recovered 23 million as tax and levies in the state.  "Our mandate of the committee was to ensure private schools meet the minimum conditions for safety, lawful and quality operational standards.  According to her, out of the 242 schools screened, only 123 are rated good, while 119 schools are rated either fair or poor in operational standard. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Zamfara State Council,has mourned the death of Comrade Emmanuel Ogbuaja, General Secretary of the NLC, described it as a painful demise,saying NLC lost a committed leader. From  Ahmed Attahir  The Zamfara State acting President,Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ZACCIMA) ,Alhaji Abubakar Chika Galadima, has assured all eligible members that the loan promised by Governor Lawal was still in place. Chika Galadima gave the assurance at a press briefing in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital. "Eligible members are that the loan promised by Governor Lawal was still in place, the new leadership of the chamber would do everything within its mandate to ensure that the funds reached qualified beneficiaries". He assured.  He explained that the loan was not intended to be handed over directly to the Chamber of Commerce or the Commissioner for Commerce, but was being managed through the bank.
