2026 Hajj: Kebbi pilgrims first batch departed for Saudi Arabia
From : Ayodele Ajoge, Birnin-Kebbi The first batch of Kebbi State Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this Year Hajj from Aliero, Koko/Besse, Bunza and Kalgo Local Government Areas, as well as officials of the Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (PWA) have departed the State for the holy land. The farewell ceremony, held at the Permanent Hajj Camp in Birnin Kebbi, was attended by government officials, religious leaders and officials of Kebbi PWA as well as intending pilgrims. Addressing the pilgrims, Governor Idris expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting them the opportunity to participate in this year’s Hajj and urged them to remain good ambassadors of Kebbi State and Nigeria throughout their stay in the Holy land.
