Zamfara set to deploys new wave of MERIT-BASED health leaders.
As part of federal ministry of health initiative to strengthen healthcare leadership across 774 local government areas in Nigeria,Zamfara has concluded recruitment interviews for the National Health Fellows Program (NHFP 2.0) in the state. In a statement issued by the information and public relations officer Zamfara state ministry of health Suleiman Isah said the program,is part of the Federal Ministry of Health’s Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp), aims to deploy a new generation of merit-selected professionals to the front lines of public health. He said while final results are pending, state officials said they are ready to integrate the fellows into the existing health framework to drive systemic reform. The statement reads in parts:"Hon.
