Kebbi LG elections : KESIEC begins distribution of sensitive materials.

From Aminu umar Bukkuyum The Kebbi State Independent Electoral Commission (KESIEC) yesterday commenced distribution of sensitive materials to various Local Government Areas for Saturday's LG elections across the state.  The distribution exercise was conducted at the headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force in Birnin Kebbi. Speaking during the exercise, the Commissioner in-charge of Information and Communication, Alhaji Muhammad Kaura Dan-Hakimi, described the distribution of the sensitive election materials as very necessary and important. It could be recalled the KESIEC had fixed Saturday, August 31, 2024 for the local government elections across Kebbi State. The commissioner explained that the sensitive materials for the elections were under the custody of the police, adding that they were all intact and would be distributed to all the 21 local government of the state for onward transmission

Food security: Mattawale donates Fertilizer to APC members in Zamfara

Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle has today donated 15 trucks of assorted fertilizer to members of All Progressive Congress(APC) across 147 wards of zamfara state. The 15 trucks of fertilizer which was handed over on Sunday to state APC secretary by the Chairman of APC, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani for onward distribution to the beneficiaries across the state, said it's part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's agricultural transformation programme on food security. Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani said the Minister's gesture to the APC members in the state will boost the agricultural output, economic growth and development.  He explained that part of the fertilizer was allocated to the Minister by the federal government and he purchased additional trucks in order to completement the federal

Hon.Sani Jaji has no intention of leaving APC - Khalifa Kaura

In a statement issued on Saturday night,the zamfara state APC Sani Jaji factional secretary Mansur Khalifa Kaura said Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji won his local government for President Asiwaju, he delivered the state for Asiwaju and also mobilized resources in supporting the Asiwaju project through out the entire North West as Director of Mobilization. From Ahmed Attahir  The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) Zamfara state has called on all protestors, community leaders,and security forces to adhere to principles of patriotism and respect for the rule of law.  The CNG have also said citizens must all recognise that the strength of their state lies in their unity and ability to address  grievances through peaceful means. In a press statement issued on Tuesday evening in Gusau,the zamfara state coordinator CNG comrade Hassan Husaini disclosed that Over the past few days, the CNG has been monitoring development across the 19 northern states in respect of the national peaceful protest. Protest: PDP Protestors targeting Mattawale's resident ,APC leaders in Zamfara - Spokesperson alleges

From Ahmed Attahir  The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State has alleged that the protesters were largely People's Democratic party (PDP) targeting resident of minister of state for defense Bello Mohammed Mattawale and other APC leaders in the state. In a statement issued to newsmen in Gusau on Thursday night,the state APC publicity secretary Yusuf Idris said they were disturbed by the dimension the nationwide supposed peaceful protest took in the state. "This is because we observed that many PDP thugs were strategically deployed to attack, maim, and destroy personalities and properties of the APC".
