From Ahmed Attahir  People's Democratic Party (PDP), Publicity Secretary in Zamfara state Alhaji Haliru Andi has appealed to prominent personalities from Northern Nigeria to establish Committee On Security in the region. Andi who was answering questions from reporters in Gusau  also suggested that, Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state should be appointed to head the committee, considering his wealth of experience and expertise in the fight against insurgency as indicated in a paper he presented during a meeting at the Northern Governors Forum and Emirs held in Kaduna.
