Zamfara PDP Spokesperson Calls For Establishment Of Northern Committee On Security

From Ahmed Attahir  People's Democratic Party (PDP), Publicity Secretary in Zamfara state Alhaji Haliru Andi has appealed to prominent personalities from Northern Nigeria to establish Committee On Security in the region. Andi who was answering questions from reporters in Gusau  also suggested that, Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state should be appointed to head the committee, considering his wealth of experience and expertise in the fight against insurgency as indicated in a paper he presented during a meeting at the Northern Governors Forum and Emirs held in Kaduna. From Ahmed Attahir  The First Lady of Zamfara State, Her Excellency, Huriyya Dauda Lawal has distributed Christmas welfare packages to women groups, organisations, unions and security formations in the state. In a statement issued by Rabi Yusuf  press secretary office of the first lady said the distribution ceremony for the 2025 Christmas Welfare was held at Government House, Gusau. Speaking at the event, the First Lady appreciated the remarkable support accorded to Governor Dauda Lawal’s administration, noting that such solidarity strengthens ongoing efforts to improve the wellbeing of citizens.
