Electricity supply: Kebbi state Govt., KEDCO signs MoU.
From : Ayodele Ajoge, Birnin-Kebbi The Kebbi State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) in far away United Kingdom aimed at improving electricity supply across the State. In a press statement made available to newsmen in Birnin-Kebbi on Thursday by Alhaji Yahaya Serki, the SA media to the Governor explained that this significant development was disclosed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Yakubu Bala Tafida, who is part of the Kebbi State Government delegation attending the crucial Kaduna Electric Energy Summit taking place in London, United Kingdom. According to the SSG, the agreement form part of the deliberate efforts of the Governor Nasiru Idris -led administration to achieve the much-desired improvement in electricity supply to the people of Kebbi State.
