Zamfara Insecurity:APC Reps Candidate laments rising spate of banditry, kidnapping.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Candidate for the House of Representatives in Zamfara state Abdulmalik Zubairu Bungudu has lamented the rising spate of insecurity in the area,said the major taken by federal government and security operatives are not enough.

He further disclosed that there was the need to employ other strategies, stressing that the menace of armed banditry has constituted a great challenge to people in the state.

"The prevalence of kidnapping, armed banditry cases is constituting great challenges for living among people in the area".

According to him, measures been taken by Federal Government and security agents are not enough to mitigate the menace, hence the need to employ other strategies.

He lamented the way some people among community are aiding and abetting armed banditry and kidnapping activities.

"They leak-out community information and sometimes supply weapons,drugs and food stuffs to bandits".

 Zubairu said until these unpatriotic and selfish attitudes stopped, the menace could be overcome.

He raised concern over  persistent kidnapping and armed banditry cases in the Constituency and other parts of the State.

Hon.Zubairu who represented the constituency from 2015 to 2019 raised the concern in a sympathy message to family of victims of kidnapping in Ruwan Doruwa and those killed in some parts of Bingi North and other parts of the State.

He prayed Allah to protect the kidnapped victims against their abductors' manhandling and ill-treatment and grant the deceased ones eternal rest.
 
It could be recalled that some recalcitrant bandits have stormed Ruwan Doruwa town and kidnapped the Maru Area Development Officer Hon. Mainasara Dandodo and former Councillor Hon. Zubairu Ruwan Doruwa as well as nine months old pregnant wife of State NULGE president in the state.

Only unemployed characters interested in NNPP logo change - N/W Chairman

Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
