Zamfara PVC'S : Despite Insecurity,the turnout is appreciable -- SA Printing
The Special Adviser to the Zamfara state Governor on government printing press Hon.Nura Musa Zurmi has disclosed that despite insecurity there was appreciable turnout of people in the ongoing registration of permanent Voters Card (PVC) in most of their areas.
He said the turnout could not be unconnected with the intensive enlightenment and sensitization campaign carried out by the state government Committee headed by the Speaker, Zamfara State House of Assembly Rt.Hon.Nasiru Muazu Magarya.
According to him,despite security challenges at zurmi local government area,more people have turned out to get their PVC," the concern shown by people to come out en-mass for PVC was very impressive". he commended.
Hon.Nura Zurmi disclosed that in Zurmi local government area of the state, the only hitched encountered was lack of enough materials coupled with centres of registration.
He further emphasize that eligible people were advised to get their PVC,added that electorate can only vote for candidate of their choice with PVC at hand.
The special adviser to Governor Matawalle on government printing press maintained that with the extension of registration to 30th of July more people have registered in Zurmi local government area as a result of sensitization by speaker Nasiru Mu'azu Magarya's committee in the state.
It was reported that, Few days now remain to the end of registration for PVC as it was extended by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
