APC 2023: Tinubu has a great Mission taking Nigeria to higher Dev. --- Gov. Matawalle

Zamfara state Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle has described All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate in the forthcoming 2023,Bola Ahmed Tinubu as candidate with great mission of taking Nigeria to higher development.



The governor has also said Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to build bridges in the Nigerian political space,he stated this during the inauguration of Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council as well as Matawalle Governorshp Campaign Council held at Government House, Gusau,today.



He directed the state's Presidential Campaign Council to mobilize all available resources to convey to the wider public in the state the mission and vision of the Tinubu presidential candidature.


He further Expressed happiness in the composition of the members of the two councils, the Matawallen Maradun urged the Presidential Campaign Council to let all people of Zamfara State know that an illustrious personality and doyen of contemporary Nigerian politics as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has continued to build bridges in the Nigerian political space has a great mission of taking Nigeria to higher development pedestals.



Governor Mattawale said supporting the APC’s presidential and other candidates will translate into greater prosperity for the people and greater development for Zamfara as a state and the country in general. 



He called on  committee Memmbers to wide on their consultations with all stakeholders including community leaders, religious leaders, trade and other interest groups when strategizing campaigns in order to achieve the desired goals.



Governor Matawalle who is the North West Zonal Coordinator of the Tinubu/Shattima Presidential Campaign Council noted that Zamfara has never been politically united in a shared desire and commitment for the sustenance of policies and programmes that will promote peace and security to build a new Zamfara State and a new Nigeria than now.



He described the choice of members of the two campaign councils as a great historic mission done in recognition of their proven integrity and willingness to make sacrifice for the state and country, and commitment to the cause of local communities and the APC



The governor said he is confident that the members have the capacity and all it takes to ensure the victory of APC at the polls in the 2023 general elections urging them to ensure that all electioneering activities are conducted within the ambit of the law, particularly the Electoral Act 2022 as the party is founded on the basis of respect for the rule of law which should be upheld at all times.



Responding on behalf of the campaign councils, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa said having achieved full unity in the party where all stakeholders agreed to remain as one unbreakable, invisible family, success is apparent to the party at all levels.



He said if APC is given the chance by Nigerians to continue in 2023, there will be unprecedented development while the issue of insecurity will completely be eradicated.



The state Presidential Campaign Councils Coordinator who commended the choice of former governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar as the Coordinator of the Matawalle Governorshp Campaign Council expressed confidence in the ability of Yari to deliver on all fronts.

Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
