Zamfara Cattle Dealers Moves to arrest Activities of Cattle Rustlers,Inaugurates new Exco.

The Zamfara state chapter of Cattle dealers association has assured to collaborate with security agencies  to arrest the activities of cattle rustlers in the state. 


The chairman of the association comrade Aminu Garba Gusau made the disclosure today shortly after inauguration of  new executives who would run the affairs of the Association for another tenure in the state.


Comrade Aminu said, already their members have distanced themselves from buying and selling suspected rustled cattle in the state.

"I can assured you that our members are law abiding and we warned them anybody found wanting will be arrested and hand over to the security agencies in the state for necessary action".


According to him they will not give room to any ousider that will come and collaborate to sell rustled cattle in any cattle market accros the state.


"We have our members in each and every cattle market across the state who are monitoring business activities with regard to sale of  cattle, if they discovered anything worthy of suspicion they will alert security attached to that market for prompt action".


"We must make sure that anybody who bring Cattle for sell, his picture and that of  his Cow or Bull must be snap with his permanent address to keep as an evidence of good character.


"I assured general public, God willing selling or buying rustled cattle would be a thing of the past in any of our cattle market we would also ensure more revenue generation to the state government".


 According to him, they are ready to give all security agents in the state the maximun cooperation they need when ever the need arises.


Comrade Aminu Garba further assured the state government and security agencies of their association support in the fight agaisnt cattle rustling, kidnapping and any other form of criminal activity in the state.


Those elected were the chairman Aminu Garba ,secretary, treasurer, public relations officer,Auditor assistant secretary among other positions with representation from all the 14 local government areas of the state. 


He commended all those who witnessed the inauguration ceremony and promised that he will carry every one along for the progress of the associon.


Highlight of the occasion include presentation of award to the desrving zamfara indigenes who in one way or the other gave their support to the association in the state.

Only unemployed characters interested in NNPP logo change - N/W Chairman

Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
