2023: Zamfara APP inaugurates over 100 member Campaign Council, Professors,Doctors formed lists.

Ahead of forthcoming 2023 elections, the Zamfara state Action People's party (APP) has inaugurated over 100 member campaign committee for Governorship in the state. 

Members of the campaign council included season politicians, religious group,professors and Doctors across the state. 

Inaugurating the committee today in Gusau, Zamfara state capital, the Gubernatorial candidate of APP Alhaji Zayyanu Salisu Haske charged members of the campaign council to work diligently for the victory of all APP candidates in the forthcoming election in the state. 

According to him, members of the committee were drawn base on their political records at all levels across the state. 

"No doubt, I'm very much confidence with the calibre of people that formed this my campaign council, I urged you to be more dedicate, sleepless, until we realise our ambition in the state".

He further changed zonal, local government and wards Coordinators of APP to intensify efforts in mobilization of electorate on the need to vote for a candidate that has people at heart.

Haske promises massive youth employment with free education from primary school to tertiary institutions if elected as Governor during the forthcoming election in the state. 


The Governorship campaign council is headed by a season politician and former Inter party Advisory committee chairman in Zamfara state Dr sani Yusuf Danmasani,other members includes professors,Doctors, religious group from across the 14 local government areas of the state.

Only unemployed characters interested in NNPP logo change - N/W Chairman

Attahiru Ahmed Gusau  The North West zonal chairman of New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) Alhaji Sani Danmasani  has disclosed that the party belongs to elected members, alleged  that only unemployed characters around Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso were interested on NNPP change of logo. Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
