2023 Elections : Zamfara NSCDC Warns officers not to Compromise with politicians.

Ahead of forthcoming 2023 general elections, the Zamfara state Commandant of the Nigerian Security and civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Mohammed Bello Muazu has warned men and officers of his command who want to  compromise with politicians during elections in the state. 

Addressing senior officers of NSCDC on
Thursday in Gusau during a capacity building in preparations for the 2023 general elections, Commandant MB Muazu called on officers and men of the command to use rules of engagement and demonstrate high level of maturity during the elections in the state. 

"We'll not use NSCDC volunteers during this  elections,  you are therefore warned you should not compromise with politicians".

He Urged the officers of the command to demonstrate high level of maturity,use rules of engagement and abide by laws.

"All hands must be on deck,to make sure we perform credibly well during and after the forthcoming elections".

"The Corp shall cooperate, collaborate and partner with other security agencies for the purpose of formidable synergy to ensure that the election is peaceful, free, fair and credible, personnel are to link up with the operation room and adhered strictly to harmonize operational order to ensure among others minimum of the one person per polling booth, collation and final result declaration venters".

"I am directing you to ensure all deployed members for the conduct of election in the state should be civil not aggressive, this is for the fact that the main aim of the NSCDC is to provide conducive environment for credible elections to the extent voters must have cool and calm election"

Only unemployed characters interested in NNPP logo change - N/W Chairman

Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
