Zamfara decides 2023: Military up and doing for hitch free elections.

In Zamfara state,as declaration of results for Governorship election is ongoing from local  governments Electoral officers,security has been beefed up in the state.


Investigation by our reporter gathered that there was presents of heavy security in Gusau metropolis and its environs.


The security personnel who were mapped in almost all the junctions in Gusau the state capital, saw the presence of military personnel who were strategically positioned at hotspots to ensure rancor free elections in the state. 

It was further gathered that the newly deployed military commander of 1 brigade Nigerian army Gusau, Brigadier General S Ahmed has been up and doing with his gallant officers to ensure a hitch free elections exercise in the state. 


A source told our reporter that, military and other security agencies were sleepless since from the beginning of distribution of election materials to date, to ensure successful conduct of elections in the state. 


According to our source, gallant military personnel deployed for election duty has demonstrated their professionalism of exhibiting decorum in the discharge of their duties on stop and search exercise of motorists in the state.

Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
