Assassination : My life is in danger - Zamfara Anti-thuggery boss

Gunmen suspected to be assassin has attacked and wounded the Zamfara state commandant of the anti-thuggery Agency Bello soja Bakyasuwa in the state, Bakyasuwa says his life is in danger. 

It was gathered that Bello Bakyasuwa has escaped being assassinated by suspected high killers on his way to Kaduna from Gusau.

Bakyasuwa who is currently receiving medical treatment in one of the hospital alleged that it was sponsored attacked.

"I am currently on hospital bed, my life is in danger, I am facing incessant attacks by suspected sponsored gunmen" 

"This time also, I narrowly escaped death on my way to Kaduna along Funtua-Zaria, I left Gusau to Kaduna in My Hilux Car" .

He narrated that on the fateful day while he was travelling to kaduna he noticed two Hilux and BMW vehicles were behind me.

"I stop at Yankara Security Check up, the two vehicles passed me, I later continue with my journey. After I passed Funtua around 8:30 pm there is one community called Gangara along Funtua-Zaria road.

I noticed the Hilux and BMW vehicles were chasing me and eventually the BMW vehicle double crossed and forcefully stopped me on the road".he narrated. 

"The people inside the two vehicles just started shooting on my vehicle, we spent few minutes exchanging fire with them, later I jump out of my Hilux after which I sustained dislocation on my leg and injuries on my face" .he lamented. 

According to him, after several exchange of gunshot he was able to escape and run in side bush with bleeding on his body.

"After like 15 minutes, the police Hilux arrived the place they quickly rescue me and took me to a one Primary Health Care in one of the nearby village" .

"As a result of the attack my Hilux vehicle was seriously damaged

Currently I am receiving treatment in at hospital" .

He lamented that his attackers are allegedly sponsored by politicians.

"I am called on security agencies to come to my aid, as my life is in danger" .he appealed

Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
