Fuel Scarcity : NSCDC Read riot act to Petrol marketers in Zamfara

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command(NSCDC ) has warned petroleum marketers to desist from hoarding products, saying that its make life unbearable. 

In a press release signed by the Command public relations officer Mr Ikoh Oche issued on Tuesday in Gusau,the state Commandant of NSCDC Muhammad Bello Muazu has charged all premium motor spirit dealers in the state not to make life difficult for the good people of State by hoarding and escalating the pump prices of the petroleum products.

Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu has reads the riot Acts to all filling stations and petroleum dealers in State.

He said, the Corps has observed with dismay the unwarranted artificial scarcity of petroleum products created by petroleum marketers sequel to the announcement by Mr President of the intention to remove subsidy  of the petroleum products.

MB Muazu opined that this is an act of sabotage and attempt to scuttle the smooth take off of this present administration.

He posited that NSCDC is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring a free supply  of petroleum products to the right destination without diversion or hoarding, as a result the Corps is ready to unearth any filling station found hoarding or causing artificial scarcity. 

He therefore warned all petroleum dealers to desist from making life unbearable for the good people of Zamfara State.

 He reiterated that the Corps will go round to ensure that those found culpable will face the wrath of the law.

Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
