Zamfara APC Chairman raises alerm Over threat to his life,his Official vehicle seized by GH police.

The Zamfara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress( APC) has condemned action of the police and the Dauda Lawal Dare led PDP government for illegal seizing of his official vehicle,he alleged that his life is in danger. 

 APC said the official vehicle of chairman with Zamfara plate number GUS 51 AH was seized on Saturday without warrant and detained the driver for hours at the government house. 

 In a statement issued by the Zamfara state APC publicity secretary Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau said if anything should happen to APC chairman they are going to hold Zamfara State Government House Police and any other person or body that fits into suspicions responsible. 

 "The sad incident occurred in Gusau, the state capital when the police who have been secretly trailing the driver descended on the vehicle with the intention of taking it away". 

 "The driver raised the alarm on the police who were later discovered to be the policemen attached to the government house".

 "They explained that they were asked by the Commissioner of Police in the state to recover the vehicle and take it to the Police Command Headquarters in Gusau only for them to divert to the government house after forcing the driver to change the route". 

They detained the driver for hours at the government house without any explanation up to when they released him. 

"We at the APC believe that this is another way and threat jointly orchestrated in collaboration by both the police and the state government against the APC and its members especially the chairman who may have been the victim of today's unfortunate act". 

 "We wish to stress in strong terms that this is completely unacceptable and we deserve an unreserved written apology from both the police and the state government with the promise never to harass our members again". 

 "With this development we want to inform security agencies that the Zamfara APC Chairman's life is in danger since they are trailing his movements and that of his family, so if anything should happen to him, we are going to hold Zamfara State Government House Police and any other person or body that fits into our suspicions responsible".

Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
