Troops rescue 15 kidnap victims of Kayan Boggo Village in Zamfara.

  Those rescued by the troops of Operation Hadarin Daji in Zamfara state. Ahmed Attahir Troops of the Joint Task Force Northwest Operation HADARIN DAJI under the command of the General officer Commanding  8 Division Nigerian Army have rescued 15 kidnapped victims in Zamfara State. Dream reporters online  gathered from military source on Monday that the victims were rescued in the early hours of today Monday in Kayan Boggo village under Bukkuyum Local Government Area Area in Zamfara State.  "The troops immediately mobilized and established a blocking position at a possible route suspected to be used by the Bandit. "Contact was made and unspecified numbers of the bandits were naturalized, forcing them to flee and abandoning the kidnapped victims".  According to the sources the victims were handed over to the district head of Gwashi village to reunite the victims with their families in the state.

Gender Violence: UKaid, NGO trains 30 Community members on Psychological First Aid in Zamfara.

Ahmed Attahir A UKaid Funded Non governmental organization, International alert have  trained 30 community members on psychological first Aid for survivors of Gender Base Violence (SGBV) in Zamfara state.  Speaking at the end of 2 day training workshop which ended today in Gusau, Zamfara state capital, Fatima Inusa the Gender, Equity and Social Inclusive officer International alert disclosed that participants were drawn across Security, CSO's, Nurses and Human rights Organizations in the state. Self-employment: NDE trains 50 Youth on goats farming in Zamfara.

The training of goat farming was aim to revive AgriBusiness and reduce unemployment rate in the state and  country at large. Declaring the programme open today in Gusau,Director General of NDE Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo said the training was to enhance food production, provide more profitable farm income, enhance quality of life for farm families, communities and provide Massive employment. Senator Yari's Palliatives : 168,000 Households to benefit in Zamfara

Ahmed Attahir A total of 168,000 households across the 14 local government areas in Zamfara state will benefit from the palliatives provided by the former Governor and Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial district, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, Shattiman Zamfara. In a statement issued by the chairman publicity committee Ibrahim Mohammed B/Magaji said Under the arrangement,  12,000 households will benefit from each of the 14 local government areas of the state. Ahmed Attahir The Senator representing Zamfara North, Senator Sahabi Ya'U Kaura has flagged off Free Medical Outreach to 5000 poor and less privilege persons across the four local government areas of his constituency in the state. Senator Yau's free medical outreach is to be man by thirty five (35) medical Doctors who will attend to patients, Examine patients, provide them with free drugs and perform operation where necessary.
