God chooses me as Governor, I wouldn't be remove by opposition,Hypocrite -- Gov.Lawal

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state has disclosed that opposition would not deter him from bringing more development in the state, saying Allah has chosen him as Governor,God willing he would remain as Governor no matter  the opposition, hypocrites.

It could be recalled that Appeal Court has cancelled the governorship election in Zamfara state and ordered for a rerun in the state.

Addressing  momouth crowd of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters today at the secretariat of the party in Gusau, after he returned from foreign trip, Governor Lawal said he was ready for the rerun election.

 He expressed optimism that he would still emerge victorious,at the rerun election, appealed to supporters of PDP to remain calm.

“Even if the election will hold tomorrow, I will insha Allah emerge as winner,no cause for alerm",he assured.

"Allah has chosen me as Governor of Zamfara,God willing i would remain as Governor no matter  the opposition, hypocrites". He said

“God has chosen me to be the Governor and I don’t think there is any one who can change the will of Allah"

 Governor Dauda stressed that the opposition were envying the development brought to the state,"We have  paid all entitlements of the civil servants, paid students WAEC and NECO fees which they  failed ".

“We have also solved the problem of water scarcity  and embarked on construction of township roads in Gusau town with other developmental work".

The Governor appreciated support and encouragement from the supporters of PDP through their prayers,which he said has given him more zeal to pilot the affairs of the state.

Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
