Zamfara: APC appreciates stakeholders Ramadan welfare packages

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara state has appreciated the efforts of its leaders for the distribution of Ramadan welfare packages to members,supporters and less privileged persons in the state.

In a statement issued on Monday signed by Zamfara state APC welfare secretary Alhaji Bashir Idris Ataka said the welfare package has impacted the lives of many people in the state.

The statement reads in parts,"On behalf of the All Progressives Congress APC State Working Committee, Exco and Members under the able leadership of Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, I write to appreciate the continued efforts of our party leaders in Zamfara for always having the people of the state at heart as their top priority when it comes to welfare packages especially as many people are faced with terrible economic hardship".

"The combination of the party leaders and immediate past governor of the state,Minister of State for Defence, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, former governor ,distinguished Senator Abdulaziz Yari abubakar, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa, Right Hon. Sani Jaji , noHon. Muktar Shehu Idris and Hon. Abdulmalik Zannan Bungudu, both of the national assembly, can not be quantified".

"These gentlemen have never relented in supporting both APC and non-APC members in the state at all times, the latest of which is the distribution of overwhelming tons of assorted grains and money to cushion the effects of the current hardships particularly during this Holy Month of Ramadan".

"I want to register our profound appreciation over these gestures, which cut across party lines and extend to the poor as well as orphans in our beloved state".

The statement added "We are aware that more is coming, especially ahead of the Eid-El-Fitr festivities".

"We shall continue to support the leaders and elders of thought in their drive to the unity, development, growth, and welfare of the state and the entire people of the state".

"We urge all the well to do individuals and groups in the state to emulate these great leaders so that we can together disgrace poverty in our midsts,We also pray Allah to accept their good intentions and pave more halal ways for them to help others in the state".

Only unemployed characters interested in NNPP logo change - N/W Chairman

Don't politicize Community Protection Guards - Marafa warns Zamfara Gov.

Ahmed Attahir Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has warned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state not to politicize the newly established community protection Guards (CPG'S) in the state. Marafa gave the warning in an interview with newsmen at his home town Yandoton Daji on Tuesday evening shortly after the funeral prayer of one Magaji Lawali a closed alley to the senator who was allegedly torture to died by CPG's in the state.
