Children Day: Consider your condition not a challenge - Zamfara NAWOJ advises PWD

The Nigeria Association of women journalists (NAWOJ) Zamfara state has celebrated May Day with children of school for special education,called on
persons with Disability to thrive hard and consider their condition not a challenge to their future progress.

This was disclosed by the Zamfara state NAWOJ chairperson Jamila Musa Kanoma in her remarks while celebrating with people living with Disability at school for special education in Gusau the state capital.

NAWOJ chairperson with her members choose to celebrate with people with special needs to show love and compassion and advise them not to give up in their future endeavors.

" Remain blessed,be active as every human being, don't give up as a result of your condition, your condition should not be a challenge that would hinder you from progressing , your future is bright like every person".

Jamila Kanoma further called on children living with Disability to be steadfast,learn hard and be more useful in future.

" I advise you to be dedicated,what you learned is what will be useful for you, your state and country atlage ". She advised.

In his remarks,the principal school for special education Abdulrasheed Muhammad Jangebe appealed to  state government to make additional hostels accommodation in the school which would further increase enrollment of persons with special needs from other local government areas to be enrol in the school.

"With enough accommodations,it would solve problem of where to stay, which many children with special needs from other local government areas would come and attend school". He stated.
