Eid-el-Kabir : Reps Jaji distributes 3000 rams,N300m to APC members,less privileged people in Zamfara.

A  Member Federal House of Representatives, Representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in Zamfara State Hon. Dr Aminu Sani Jaji has purchased 3000 Rams for distribution to supporters of the All Progressive Congress, (APC) in Zamfara state.

Ho.Sani Jaji, also ,earmarked the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Million Naira (300,000,000) for distribution to deserving individuals, orphans and vulnerable groups across the state as Eid-el-kabir Sallah welfare packages.

The lawmaker who is the Chairman House committee on ecological said the gesture is aimed to assist muslim faithfuls, APC members and less privileged families to perform sacrifices and celebrate this year's Eid-el-kabir festivals in the state.

In a statement issued by Chairman Jaji Coordinating Committee Aliyu Abubakar MC said the beneficiaries include prominent personalities,former political appointees, APC State Executives, Local Government and Wards Executives ,APC Elders, Former Directors General Forum, Former Local Government Councils Chairmen and Vice Chairmen, Councillors Forum and other stakeholders in the state.

Other beneficiaries include Islamic Scholars,Executives of Jajiyya Political Movement  and Jajiya political Associations , orphans, youths and women groups in the state.

"The beneficiaries of the N300m includes former Political Offices Holders across the state, Islamic scholars and Qur'anic reciters as well as Ward Executives of Jajiyya Political Movement across the state, his constituents of Kaura-Namoda and Birnin Magaji will receive a special package of both  Rams and Cash accordingly".  He stated 

He called on Muslims faithfuls to use the 10 Days of Zulhijjah and Eid-el-kabir period to intensify prayers for the sustainable peace and stability in the state and country as a whole.

World Human rights Day : We records Over 120 abuse, neglect Cases - Zamfara NHRC

From Ahmed Attahir  The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Zamfara state has raised the alarm that over 120 violations of human rights were recorded in 2024 in the state. This was disclosed by the Zamfara state coordinator NHRC Abdullahi Abubakar on Wednesday during the commemoration of 2024 world human rights day in the state.  The coordinator expressed concern over the alarming increase in human rights violations across the state.  "We have recorded over 120 cases of human rights violations so far in 2024, including issues such as abuse, neglect, and the infringement of fundamental freedoms".
