Zamfara : Family seeks Governor lawal intervention over murder of Magaji Lawal

Families and friends of late Magaji Lawal Yandoto, a close political alley to senator Kabiru Marafa,allegedly murdered by former Commandant of Security Protection Guards (CPG) in Zamfara state have cried to Governor Dauda Lawal for justice in the state.
Addressing newsmen on Saturday evening in Gusau,spokesperson to the family of late Magaji Lawal,Anas Magaji Lawal lamented that one year after the brutal killing of their father, they are still in mourning.
"One year after our father was killed ,we are still waiting for justice,we learned that the alleged killer of our father after court sittings he was granted on bail,we want justice". They stated.
The family and friends have kicked against granting alleged killer on bail dispite some establish evidence that former Commandant CPG Rabiu Garba was behind the brutal killing of late Magaji Lawal in the state.
A close friend to late Magaji Lawal,known as Alhaji Ruwa lamented how the court granted on bail the alleged killer and now moving freely in the state.
"All what we are saying,we need justice to be done to who killed our friend,we are law abiding family and waiting for justice to prevail." He said.
Also, at the news briefing, a younger brother to late Magaji's Father ,Alhaji Lawal Dauda disclosed that late Magaji Lawal Yandoto left behind 23 children who were always mourning their breadwinner.
The family have wrote to the relevant authorities seeking for appropriate legal action against the alleged murder of their father,they further appealed to Governor Dauda Lawal to intervene and allow justice to be done.
"Regrettably, since the grant of bail, no step or move has been taken to prosecute the defendant, we humbly solicit your intervention in ensuring the prosecution of the defendant". The family appealed.
