Zamfara E-library: We're taking steps to bridge education gap - Education Commissioner

The Zamfara State commissioner of Education science and technology Mallam Wadatau Madawaki has disclosed that the establishment of digital E-library in the state would further advance and enhance learning, saying Zamfara is taking another bold step towards bridging the digital gap in education.

Mallam Wadatau Madawaki stated his while speaking during the formal launching of digital E-library in Gusau,the state capital.

The digital E-library is part of of of the president Senator Mrs  Oluremi Tinubu Renewed Hope Initiative in collaboration with National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in the state.

The commissioner represented by the permanent secretary ministry of Education science and technology Hajiya Maryam Shantali said The project aligns perfectly with the vision of   Governor Dauda Lawal who declared an Emergency on Education shortly after assuming office. Since then, the state has witnessed major milestones in reviving the sector.

"With the commissioning of this E-Learning Library, we are taking another bold step towards bridging the digital gap in education". He stated.

"On behalf of the Ministry and the good people of Zamfara State, I express our deep gratitude to Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for including Zamfara in this noble initiative. I equally commend the Federal Ministry of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy  for the implementation.

"We assure you that this facility will be put to maximum use for the benefit of our students, teachers, and researchers". He concluded.
