Kebbi: Religious Ministry berates clerics,warns against unguided preachings.

The Kebbi State Ministry of Religious Affairs has denied accusations that the people of the state have not reaped the benefits of state creation, as he warned clerics against unguided preachings in the state.
While Briefing Newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday, the Commissioner for religion affairs, Arc. Sani Aliyu, stated that the creation of the Ministry stands out as the premier achievement of religious duty by incumbent administration of Comrade Nasir Idris.
He stated further that Kebbi State have agitated for the establishment of Religious Affairs Ministry for more than 30 years until the advent of the present government which hearkened to their aspirations.
He further Stated that the administration has created Religious Preaching Board, Zakkat and Endowment Board, Hisbah Board, and all Laws establishing these Boards have been gazetted and now fully functional
It is therefore unfathomable for an individual, named Bashir Jega, to disparage such feat unjustifiably, claiming that the government has not done anything to enable Kebbi people enjoy the values of Religion.
"We advise Religious Clerics to concentrate on inculcating spiritual virtues and knowledge into their followers away from political inclination".
"Any Religious Cleric interested in politics should shed the cloak of religion and jump into the political arena to showcase himself",
"Our Religious Leaders must desist from inciting the people through false allegations and antagonism." He said.
