Philanthropist launches 6,000 eye medical outreach in Zamfara

A philanthropist in Zamfara state, Alhaji Sanusi Garachi has launched eye medical outreach for 6000 people across the four local government areas in the state.

Speaking at the formal launching of the program held today at the Gussu Emir's palace,the philanthropist Sanusi Garachi seek for Royal blessing for the successfully implementation of the exercise in the state.

He said,the eye medical outreach was aimed to address one of the major identified problem of less privileged people that needed urgent attention across the four local government areas of Gusau,Tsafe, Bungudu and Maru in the state.

"In addition to the 6000 eye medical outreach,we also paid for medical bills of less privileged patients at hospital and settle debts for some inmates at correctional centers as part of our humanitarian activities in the state".he stated.

He further explained that the eye medical outreach, includes medication, provision of eye glasses and surgery to those patients that needed eye surgery in the .

According to him,a foundation was also launched,named Sanusi Garachi Foundation to assist in the area of education, health and social development in the state.

Dr . Mustafa Mohammed,who lead team of eye medical doctors for the Sanusi Garachi Foundation assured of timely and prompt attention to patient medication and treatment in the state.

In his remarks,the Emir of Gusau Alhaji Abdulkadir Ibrahim Bello assured of his Emirate support towards the successfully exercise,warned that the medical outreach should not be politicized,but let it be a humanitarian gesture seeking for God reward
