Crisis Rocks Zamfara APC, as Minister Matawalle Breaks Silence

Factional crisis has erupted in the zamfara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC),as Minister of state for defence Bello mattawale raised alarm on alleged shared positions of party executives in the state. 

It was gathered that the development has brought Zamfara state APC Congresses to a stand still,and may not hold anytime soon as preparations for it's conduct hit the bricks.

It was further gathered that there has been a lock of horns over interest of political icons in the party whose efforts recognized as a living soul that brought the APC in the state to date. 

In an audio that went viral, the Minister of State for Defense, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has raised the alarm that Governor Dauda Lawal and Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar were allegedly sidelined he mattawale and have shared all key positions of the party in the state without contacting him.

He said "I defected to the ruling party when I was a Governor then, but I carried everybody alone to avoid fuelling of grudges in the government and the party, but all that selfless decisions did not stop some of the party members to embarked upon secret activities against the victory of the party, which we failed the 2019 election".

"Since the day Governor Lawal formally welcomed into the party by the Vice President Kashim Shettima, I made a public declaration that all my followers should support Governor Lawal's second term.

"Governor Lawal had openly sided with Senator Yari Abubakar and abandoned me, but this should be seen as a clear political blunder, because I have my own people across the 14 local government areas of the state just waiting for my directive.

"My teeming supporters have contacted me complaining about this arrangement,which in any way not respecting me as one of the party leaders in the state, I replied them, they should remain patience and loyal to the APC, we still have a long way to go.

"I am warning Governor Lawal to be very careful, the fosters of Mukhtar Shehu (Koguna) vying for Governorship 2027 is still flying in the state, and this underground project is sponsored by Senator Abdulaziz Yari as he did in 2019,where APC finally failed in gubernatorial and legislative positions in the state ". He warned.

Zamfara Gov's Aide Kaura drags to Court for defamation of character.

Yusuf Alhassan kanoma has filed a suit at Magistrate court 1,in Gusau on alleged defamation of character against Mustafa Jafaru kaura special Assistant to Zamfara Governor on media and communications. When the case came up on Tuesday for mentioning,it was discovered that neither the defendant nor his counsel were present in court. It was gathered that the court was unable to serve the defendant with court summon as it was alleged that the defendant was evading the summon.
