The North West Director Of Contact and Mobilisation for Asiwaju/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in the 2023 general election Dr Aminu Sani Jaji has won the return tickets for House of Representatives in Zamfara State. 

Dr Aminu Sani Jaji representing Kaura Namoda/ Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in Zamfara State served as the returning officer for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023 general election in the North West.

Announcing the results, the chairman APC National Assembly Primary Election Committee for Zamfara State Dr Bello Maigari declared Dr Aminu Sani Jaji as winner of the APC Primaries who scored 37,064 votes to defeat his major contender Hassan Umar who scored 1,400 votes in the state. 

The Chairman of the committee explained that APC held hitch free exercise under the supervision of the election committee from Abuja, the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) the media security agencies party stakeholders and loyalists.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the exercise, the Honourable member representing Kaura Namoda Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency Rt Hon Dr Aminu Sani Jaji applauded the peaceful and orderly conduct of the APC primary election in his constituency.

Dr Aminu Jaji commended party officials, INEC officials, security agencies, party loyalists and supporters as well as the media for their support during the exercise. 

The Lawmaker also thanked the Zamfara state of the All Progressives Congress APC and the entire critical stakeholders of the party for the cooperation that ensured the successful conduct of the exercise.

He explained that this honour comes with an even greater responsibility to serve the people with renewed commitments, dedication, sincerity and results -driven representation, pointing out that he will continue to remain committed to pursuing initiatives and opportunities that will continue to uplift the constituency and meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the electorate.

Dr Aminu Sani Jaji informed the people of the constituency that " Together, we shall continue to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and the purposeful leadership of Governor Dauda Lawal for a new and greater Zamfara State and a better Nigeria.

Court orders Police to investigate criminal case filed by Ex-lawmer in Zamfara

From Ahmed Attahir  A Magistrate Court I sitting in Gusau Zamfara State capital has on Wednesday ordered Commissioner of Police to investigate alleged criminal case filed before the court by a former member House of Assembly, Yusuf Alhasan Kanoma, against Mustafa Jafaru kaura ,media aide to Zamfara Governor. The Presiding Judge Murtala Abdullahi refered the case to the Commissioner of Police for thorough investigation. Earlier, when the case came up ,the state Attorney General and Commissioner for justice Abdulaziz Sani,SAN represented by Director litigation ,prayed to the court for transfer of the case to ministry of justice as empowered by provision 211 of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
