Shinkafi's APC Senator aspirant raises alarm over threat to his life in Zamfara.

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Senatorial aspirant in Zamfara State Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi has raised the alarm over threat to his life,saying no amount of intimidation would make him to withdraw from joining the race.

Addressing newsmen on Monday evening in Gusau, Dr sani Abdullahi Wanban Shinkafi alerted Governor Dauda Lawal, President Bola Tinubu, his family and supporters that some individuals were alleged to have planned his elimination.

"Certain individual want to eliminate me on no just reason,I have no regret on my relationship with Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, Zanna Bungudu, Mukhtar Shehu Idris and aspiring for Senator in Zamfara north".

According to him, there was plot to destabilize his 2027 Senator aspiring,which was uncovered through an invitation he got from Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on alleged fund linked to his company account ( Sahel Multi link), amounting to fourty five million naira (N45m).

"I vowed not to step down for any aspirant,the allegation was aim to stop me from aspiring for Senator Zamfara north,No retreat No surrender".

He disclosed that part of the allegation was that Abdulaziz Yari, Zannan Bungudu and Mukhtar Shehu Idris both paid in money into my account to finance terrorism in the state. 

"Some people paid good with evil,Governor Dauda, president Tinubu should take note and be aware,i have no regret in my relationship with Senator Abdulaziz Yari".

He further said that his aspiring for Zamfara north Senator was not his wish but wish of his constituents, who believed it is time for a credible and people oriented representation to the zone.

Court orders Police to investigate criminal case filed by Ex-lawmer in Zamfara

From Ahmed Attahir  A Magistrate Court I sitting in Gusau Zamfara State capital has on Wednesday ordered Commissioner of Police to investigate alleged criminal case filed before the court by a former member House of Assembly, Yusuf Alhasan Kanoma, against Mustafa Jafaru kaura ,media aide to Zamfara Governor. The Presiding Judge Murtala Abdullahi refered the case to the Commissioner of Police for thorough investigation. Earlier, when the case came up ,the state Attorney General and Commissioner for justice Abdulaziz Sani,SAN represented by Director litigation ,prayed to the court for transfer of the case to ministry of justice as empowered by provision 211 of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
