Zamfara North 2027: APC stakeholders stages rally in support of Tijjani Kaura for Senator.

All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Zamfara North have staged a rally in support of Tijjani Yahaya Kaura former Minister of State for Foreign affairs who was aspiring for Senator come 2027 in the state.

The rally cut across all the four Local Government Areas of Zamfara north, where party chieftains, party leaders, political appointees and other critical stakeholders gathered in Kaura Namoda town and expressed their support for the senatorial ambition of Tijjani Yahaya kaura. 

The grand rally is widely seen as a significant step for Kaura's anticipated bid to represent people of Zamfara North Senatorial District in the senate.

In their seperate remarks at the rally, political stakeholders and supporters across four Local Government Areas of Kaura Namoda, Birnin Magaji, Shinkafi and Zurmi describe Senator Tijjani Yahaya Tafidan Kaura as the only right candidate for the seat, citing his contributions to the youths empowerment as well as growth and development of the constituency during his stay in the senate.

Speaking at the grand rally, Senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura said today's event signifies his formal declaration to contest for the position of Senator representing Zamfara North Senatorial District in the 2027 elections.

He said his decision to contest the Zamfara North Senatorial seat was out of his desire to provide quality representation and contribute meaningfully to the development of his constituents.

"My decision followed a goodwill and my desire to contribute to the development of my people, ranging from employment opportunities which is one of the most important investments of the people for the future of this constituency.

"When I was a Senator, i have recorded tremendous achievements in the area of securing jobs opportunities for the teaming youth where over 700 youths were employed by my representation.

 "My target this time around is to provide jobs opportunities for over 2000 youths of Zamfara North Senatorial District and the state atlarge.

Court orders Police to investigate criminal case filed by Ex-lawmer in Zamfara

From Ahmed Attahir  A Magistrate Court I sitting in Gusau Zamfara State capital has on Wednesday ordered Commissioner of Police to investigate alleged criminal case filed before the court by a former member House of Assembly, Yusuf Alhasan Kanoma, against Mustafa Jafaru kaura ,media aide to Zamfara Governor. The Presiding Judge Murtala Abdullahi refered the case to the Commissioner of Police for thorough investigation. Earlier, when the case came up ,the state Attorney General and Commissioner for justice Abdulaziz Sani,SAN represented by Director litigation ,prayed to the court for transfer of the case to ministry of justice as empowered by provision 211 of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
