2027 Tinubu presidential campaign: Zamfara sons are upto the task- MPM supporters

The Zamfara State Supporters and members of Matawalle Political Movement (MPM) Honourable Minister of State for Defence Bello Mohammad Matawalle MON,has lauded the inclusion of prominent sons of Zamfara into 2027 Tinubu presidential campaign council.

In a statement issued on saturday evening by the publicity secretary Matawalle Political Movement (MPM) Yusuf Idris said Zamfara sons were upto the task,APC victory for sure, God willing. 

The statement reads in part:"The Matawalle Political Movement also expresses its deep gratitude to God for guiding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the right direction to appoint the five prominent sons of the State into the Campaign Council. 

"They include the topmost position of Director General of the Campaign Council appropriately given to Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, Deputy Director on Security and Intelligence 1 to the Hon Minister of State for Defence, Dr Bello Mohammed Matawalle as well as current governor Dauda Lawal on the Stakeholders Mobilization Committee. 

"The choice did not stop on the first three fellows but went further to nominate former governors Ahmad Sani Yerima and Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi. 

"This significant consideration has further placed Zamfara State on an enviable position. 

"Having secured an overwhelming votes for the president in the last election three years ago and with the cream of influential personalities on the campaigns Council, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is surely on his concluded way into his second term. 

"We therefore wish to congratulate all the new members and assure the president that while serving as the state's ambassadors in the council, they will not fail in delivering the president and the APC in the coming general elections". The statement concluded.

Court orders Police to investigate criminal case filed by Ex-lawmer in Zamfara

From Ahmed Attahir  A Magistrate Court I sitting in Gusau Zamfara State capital has on Wednesday ordered Commissioner of Police to investigate alleged criminal case filed before the court by a former member House of Assembly, Yusuf Alhasan Kanoma, against Mustafa Jafaru kaura ,media aide to Zamfara Governor. The Presiding Judge Murtala Abdullahi refered the case to the Commissioner of Police for thorough investigation. Earlier, when the case came up ,the state Attorney General and Commissioner for justice Abdulaziz Sani,SAN represented by Director litigation ,prayed to the court for transfer of the case to ministry of justice as empowered by provision 211 of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria.
