Over 100 Health personnel receives induction training in Zamfara.

The Zamfara State government has organised induction training for over One Hundred newly recruited health personnel of the Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital in Gusau.
The newly recruited staffs were trained on basic Civil Service ethics and guidelines and their expectations in the hospital as they relate to patients.
Addressing the participants of the training on Thursday, the state Commissioner for health represented by the Permanent Secretary Pharm. Aliyu Muhammad Maikiyo charged recruited personnel to be diligent in their duties.
According to him the training was a rare privilege taking into cognisance that many were recruited in the past but could not receive such training and called on other health institutions, parastatals and agencies to see the development as a challenge for them to emulate.
He called on them to reciprocate the gesture by supporting the ideals and policies of the present administration of Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun.
Those present at the occasion include Executive Director Zamfara State School of Nursing and Midwifery Gusau, Mallam Hassan Isah Bungudu and Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress NLC Comrade Sani Halliru who presented goodwill messages.
They charged the inductees to make use of the opportunity offered them by the hospital and serve people and the facility diligently.
In his presentation Head of Administration of the hospital, Mallam Aminu Muhammad Sirajo,spoke on appointment procedure, promotion and leave in public service.
Other presentation focused on misconduct in service and disciplinary procedures.
It could be recalled that recently personnel were recruited on different Cadre such as Doctors, Medical Laboratory technicians and Assistants, Health Information Management officers, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, Nurses and Midwives and Biomedical Engineers among others in the state.
