Zamfara Anti-thuggery begins recruitment,receives 6,700 applications

From Ahmed Attahir  The Zamfara State  chairman committee on Anti-thuggery,drugs abuse and other related crimes,Bello Bakyasuwa has disclosed that about 6,700 applicants has applied for recruitment as personnel into the committee in the state.  He explained that the state Government has approved the recruitment of 2,000 personnel into the anti-thuggery outfit in the state.  Addressing newsmen in Gusau, Bello Bakyasuwa revealed that the recruitment and screening exercise for the applicants has since commenced in the state.  According to him, Governor Bello Matawalle has approved the recruitment of 2,000 personnel that comprises of males and females into the anti-thuggery outfit in the state. “We received applications from about 6,700 candidates comprising males and females seeking the job and we are currently on the recruitment exercise".   From Ahmed Attahir  The Zamfara state chairman Governorship  Campaign Committee for All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 general election,Former Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has called on electorate in the state to come out and vote for APC,says he is optimistic Governor Mattawale would win his second term reelection in the state.  Former Governor Yari who was speaking on Thursday during a campaign rally held in Bungudu town headquarters of Bungudu local government area, said with what he saw ,APC will win Election in the state. Ahmed Attahiru  Ahead of 2023,Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara state has assured to end insecurity and provide massive employment for youth in the state.  Governor Mattawale called on people in the state to vote for APC,says vote for APC peace,security and employment opportunity in to state. Speaking on Tuesday during the flagged up campaign for his reelection at Kaura Namoda town, Mattawale disclosed that Zamfara state is now an APC state. Both former Governors Ahmad Sani Yarima and Mahmuda Aliyu Shikafi spoke on the need for continuity so that all projects and programmes started by His Excellency Dr Bello Mohammed can be completed and built upon.  They both commended Governor Matawalle for embracing everyone into the fold even as he eventually took over the machinery of the only living and functional Political Party in the state. 2023: Zamfara APC set to flags up Governorship Campaign rally.

  From Ahmed Attahir  A head of 2023 ; Zamfara state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has concluded arrangement to flag off its campaign for Governorship candidate,says three former Governors are to grace the campaign in the state.  The former Governors expected to attend the flag up campaign rally for 2023 Governorship candidate of APC included former Governor Ahmed Sani Yarima Bakura, Mamuda Aliyu Shinkafi and Abdulaziz  Yari Abubakar in the state.  Addressing newsmen on Monday, the Director Publicity committee,Alhaji Ibrahim Danmalikin Gidan-goga said the flag off campaign would take place in Kaura-namoda town on Tuesday in the state. NGO flags off distribution of clothing materials to over 7000 orphans, less privileged persons in Zamfara.

  Ahmed Attahiru  A Non Governmental organization in Zamfara state IBM & Brothers has flagged up the distribution of clothing materials and other assorted items to over 7000 orphans and vulnerable persons across the 18 emirate councils in the state.  Flagging off the Distribution of Clothing Materials today to orphans,Almajiris and less privileged people at Emir's palace of Maradun,the foundation chairman Ambassador Ahmed Dan-wudil said the items would mostly be use during hamattan period in the state.  According to Ambassador Dan-Wudil the Distribution of the items was parts of the complimentary efforts of Ibrahim Bello Mohd matawalle of assist people across the Nineteen Emirates councils in the state. Abdulmalik as APC rep Candidate in Zamfara From  Ahmed Attahir  The Court of Appeal Sokoto Division has uphold the judgement of the Federal High Court Gusau and has re reaffirmed Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu as the candidate who won the All Progressives Congress (APC )primary election for Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency in the state.  Delivering the judgement the three man panel of judges,lead by Justice M.L Shu'aibu said the Court has upheld the judgement, dismissing the appeal instituted by Abdul Rahman Muhammad Tumbido for lack of merit. It could be recalled that the appellant Hon. Abdul Rahman Muhammad Tumbido has approached the court of appeal  challenging the judgement of the federal High court sitting in Gusau presided by Justice Aminu Bappa Aliyu. Parading the suspects on Thursday night in Gusau, the chairman Zamfara state anti thuggery, drug abuse and other related crimes Bello Mohammed Bakyasuwa said the suspects were apprehended during All progressive Congress (APC) youths rally organised in Gusau, state capital.  Bakyasuwa disclosed that the suspected youth were arrested with dangerous weapons by the anti thuggery personnel during the rally. According to him, while attempting to arrest the suspects 2 of the anti thuggery personnel were seriously wounded to point of coma. 2022 Human Right Day : Zamfara receives 1,134 cases --- State Coordinator.
