Ahmed Attahir  All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara state has condemned Governor, Dauda Lawal Dare action of shutting the Council of Ulama office situated in the Government House in the state. The state APC alleged that it's a direct affront on Islam,the will of the people and sabotage to the gradual but progressive institutionalization of the Sharia legal system in the state. In a statement issued by the Zamfara APC  publicity secretary Mallam Yusuf Idris said ,Office of the Council of Ulama is the highest ranking Islamic body in the state that was established since 1999 to ensure peaceful coexistence among all people including non Muslims in the state. "Council of Ulama guarantee the sustenance of good upbringing and advice government at all levels over all issues so that there will be good governance". Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara West Senatorial area. Ahmed Attahir  The Senator  representing Zamfara West senatorial area, former Governor  Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has again donated N300 million to All Progressive Congress (APC) supporters to celebrate Eid-el-kabir in the state. Senator Abdulaziz Yari announced the donation Sunday at his Talata Mafara Resident during a meeting with APC stakeholders across the 14 local government area in the state. According to him, the gesture was aimed at reducing the hardship and celebrate Eid-el-kabir with ease. Ahmed Attahir  The Zamfara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has condemned in totality invasion and vandalization of Gusau and Maradun private residences of the immediate past Governor of the state, Bello Mohammed Matawalle by the State Police Command and personnel of the DSS in the State. In a press statement signed and issued by Zamfara state APC  publicity secretary Yusuf Idris Gusau said the unlawful invasion is a gross violation of the sacred provisions of section 34, 35, 37, 41, 42 and 43 of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.   From our reporter No fewer than 50 APC supporters in Gummi Local Government Area of Zamfara state who sustained various degree of injury during by the April 15th re-run electlon have cried out for help as they are languishing for lack of medical attention. Investigation revealed that the APC supporters sustained injuries as a result of attack by PDP supporters at various polling units during the election and after the election were left in attended by the party, key stakeholders. Majority of the victims were critically ill and could not afford to have medical attention due to the poor financial status.
