In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy, Abdullahi Idris Zuru, the governor praised the people’s dedication to prayers and sacrifices during the holy month. He also commended their resilience and support for his administration’s programs in education, infrastructure, agriculture, and economic empowerment. Hajj 2026 : Kebbi PWA concludes Visa issuance for intending Pilgrims.

From : Ayodele Ajoge, Birnin-Kebbi  The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has successfully completed the issuance of visas to all intending pilgrims from the state for the 2026 Hajj exercise. The Executive Chairman of the Agency, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu Yaro who was represented by the Director of ICT, Alh Faruku Jabbo announced the development while briefing officials of the agency in Birnin Kebbi. He said the  achievement was part of the agency’s commitment to ensuring smooth and timely preparations for the holy pilgrimage. According to him, the early completion of the visa process will allow pilgrims adequate time to finalize other necessary travel arrangements ahead of their departure to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement issued on Sunday night,the Zamfara NUT Executives describing his death as a painful loss to the entire teaching profession and the education sector in Nigeria. NUJ Kebbi council supports 30 families of late Colleagues.

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ),p Kebbi State Council has on Friday doled out grains and N10,000 cash to 30 families members of late Colleagues in the State. The Chairman of the Council, Alhaji Bello Abubakar-Sarki, disclosed this during the distribution exercise organised by the council in Birnin Kebbi. Abubakar-Sarki said the gesture was initiated 11 years ago and had been sustained by successive NUJ leadership in the State as part of efforts to support the families of late colleagues. “Today, we are distributing palliatives, which include a bag of rice and N10,000 cash each to about 30 families of our late colleagues, this gesture has been made possible through prudent savings and solidarity within the union." He said. The chairman expressed appreciation to the Kebbi Governor, Nasir Idris, for his continued support for working journalists in the state.

He said the KADA has remains focused on empowering farmers, improving productivity, and enhancing food security.
