From Ahmed Attahiru The Zamfara State government has has organised refresher training for the 100p recruited health care providers across  the 14 local government  areas in the state.  The state Governor who was represented by Deputy Governor Senator Hassan Mohammed Nasiha on Wednesday, during the official opening  of 5 days refresher training for the newly recruited personnel held at JB Yakubu secretariat in Gusau,charged the newly recruited health personnel to be diligent to duty. Hon.Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu From Ahmed Attahir The Zamfara state APC candidate for Bungudu/Maru federal constituency for the forthcoming 2023 election, Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu has presented the donation of skills  acquisition  equipments to 300 women as empowerment to his constituent in the state.  Speaking during the presentation ceremony held at Furfuri town, Bungudu local government area today,the candidate said the donation was part of his blueprint of empowering women to be self reliant. He said the beneficieries were trained by the Zamfara state Investment and Property Development Company in collaboration with the Consulting Firm, Brighter Future Initiatives in the state.  He explained that 300 women were trained on soap/perfume making, shoe and bag making, sewing, event decorations, make up, liquid car wash and hair dressing among other vocational skills. The Zamfara state Coordinator of the Tinubu/Shattima Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa has today inspected the council's operational office with a call on officials and staff to brace up for the tasks ahead. In a statement issued on Saturday by Zamfara state APC publicity secretary Mallam Yusuf Idris said Senator Marafa disclosed that members of his campaign team are fully ready to carry out the assigned responsibility.   From our reporter In a bid to curtail street roaming by Almajiris, Zamfara state government has introduce feeding of the Almajiris. The Special Adviser Islamic Affairs and Quranic Schools, Dr. Atiku Balarabe Zawuyya said so far Almajiris in the 120 schools would benefit from the gesture. According to him, under the programme, food stuff would be supplied to the schools proprietors to cook for the pupils. He said the supply of the food stuff to Almajiris was to halt the movement of the pupils on the streets in search of food. Zawuyya therefore, urged the proprietors to use the food judiciously in feed the Almajiris as anybody found wanting would face the consequences. Also, speaking, Executive Secretary of the Board, Sani Abdullahi Jangebe said the idea of introducing feeding Almajiris was encourage learning of Quranic education amongst the pupils. He urged for intensive prayer to end the current security challenges facing the state.

Ahmed Attahir The Federal High Court sitting in Gusau has upheld the election of Abdulmalik Zubairu as 2023 APC candidate for Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency in the state.  Delivering the judgement on Thursday, the Presiding Judge of the court, Justice Aminu Bappa dismissed the case for lack of merit. The judge said the court has rejected all the evidences tendered by the plaintiff on the ground that they were inadmissible before the court and has dismissed the case.
